HOW TO PAY

WE ACCEPT:  

We accept: Sterling cheque (PREFERRED OPTION)
US dollar personal cheque
Cheque or Eurocheque in Euros
Postal Giro cheque (IN £s STERLING, PLEASE)
Banker's draft drawn on a bank in the United Kingdom (£s STERLING)
Credit card (but NOT switch, debit, Amex or Electron): deductions will be made in UK pounds
PayPal

HOW TO ORDER

You can order any item by letter, fax, phone or e-mail. Orders will be despatched on receipt of cheque, credit card clearance, or (for institutional customers) offical order/invoice request. Likewise you can join the Lute Society by filling in the enclosed form; publications will be despatched on receipt of payment.

We are happy to accept membership applications and orders by post, fax, e-mail or phone, and to take credit card orders by telephone or fax; you can email credit card details at your own risk. We are happy to keep records of your credit card details for future orders. 

 Also PLEASE REMEMBER THE TIME DIFFERENCE IF PHONING OR FAXING FROM OVERSEAS: our office is in a domestic residence.

 •       Please make cheques payable to The Lute Society.

 •       Sterling bank cheques and banker’s drafts must be DRAWN ON A BANK IN THE UNITED KINGDOM

 •       Credit card deductions have to be made in Sterling, though they will appear in your local currency on your statement.

 •       Receipts will be issued on request.

 •       Please remember to add postage and packing, but for orders of more than six items you may omit postage and packing if paying by cheque: we can invoice this separately. We will add this to your deduction if you pay by credit card.

 •       We try to keep all items in stock all the time: we will advise you within a few days if we are out of stock of any item.

 •       All orders to Europe are sent airmail; orders outside Europe by airmail, unless surface mail is requested.

 NOTE: For orders of more than 6 items postage and packing will be invoiced on despatch, or charged at cost to credit card transaction

Dollars, above are U.S. dollars. Items sent by airmail usually arrive within a week or so; items sent by surface mail can take up to three months to arrive, though generally arrive much sooner than this.
